Baidoa, 16 February 2025โWith support from IMS, SOMA has initiated a three-day training session at the Ruun Jinaad Hotel in Baidoa focused on journalists’ safety and protection.
From 16 to 18 February, the training brings together 22 journalists (10 women and 12 men) from various media organizations. Led by experts in media safety, the program covers crucial topics such as risk assessment, digital security, situational awareness, and personal safety.
This training aims to equip journalists with essential skills to effectively navigate security challenges.
